what type of rear end fluid do i use? limited slip or the other stuff?

Well what kind of supra do you have? If your car is turbo or a NA with the sports package you would want to use fluid designed for use in a VLSD.

look at the differential. if it says LSD on the back of it, you should use LSD oil. there's also a tag in the engine bay on pre'89 models, and in the driver's door on 89+ models.

check your data tag in the door jam, it will have a diff code on there.

G305 for 89-92 Turbos (3.73:1 with LSD)
G315 for 87-88 Turbos (3.91:1 with LSD)
G284 for N/A's (4.30:1 no LSD)
G285 for N/A's (4.30:1 with LSD)

Redline 75w90NS regardless......if its an LSD, just add limited slip friction modifier.

Mobile1 75/90. Works great in open or LSD rears.

I've never had to add the LSD add to the diff, I would use ass little of that stuff as possible. more friction = more work. just don't want it to chatter which it never has for me.

right......i should've added to only ass as much as needed. stay away from the regular redline 75w90 cause it already has LSD additive in it......too much for our old Diffs.
