Anyone know which fuse is for the rear defroster. The light lights up when i switch on the defroster, but it isn't going on. Thanks in advance.

Check the circuit breaker. I had the same problem on my supra and it drove me nuts. I checked my fuses, took the rear panel off inside of the trunk and looked at the defroster amplifier and all of the wiring, until I found out that it was the circuit breaker but about the fuses check the 7.5a gauge fuse. Hope this helps.

I'm having this same problem kind of. My mirrors heat up but the rear window defroster does nothing.

I'm interested in the same info.

How does that 30a defog fuse come out, it is that metal one right below that 7.5 amp fuse right? I don't want to break it. My hands are to big to get in that far, do you just pull it out or do you have to squeeze white plastic pieces on both sides and pull?

I would of put up some pictures of where it is but my camera is not working. It is near the fuse box(on the driverside). It has a shiny cover and should say 30A. Also you will see a small hole. With that small hole you need to put like a paperclip or something small in it and you should hear a little pop(sounds like two metal clips touching) and if you hear this that means that you should have it working again. Hope this helps and if you still have problems with it and I get my camera I can put up some pictures.

Yeah if you can get some pics that would be great, im afraid of breaking something or pulling the wrong one. The problem is i have big hands and have a hard time getting my hand in there. Let me know when you get some pics. Thanks, Bob.

Well i tried popping a paper clip in the whole, i didn't hear a pop at all, i was pushing damn hard too. I tested the lines with a voltmeter and i didn't get any readings at all, 0 volts. I tried pulling out the 30amp cb fuse, but I couldn't get it out. Should it be that tought to get out?

It should not be hard to pull out the 30A circuit breaker. Also you should try the defogger relay and see if it works or not(the relay is right below the circuit breaker) and if the relay is good, fuses are good, defogger switch is good, circuit breaker is good then you should try and look at the defogger amplifier and the wiring on the window in the rear of the Supra. Maybe your defogger amplifier is bad but usually these do not go bad.

How do you test that the defogger relay is good? I tested the lines already and didn't get any voltage at all, so im assuming it isn't getting power.
