Alright, My car is still spittin n sputterin. But I noticed somthing I didn't before.

As soon as it starts doing it, the CEL of course pops on, and all 3 TEMS lights.

Now with the car OFF but the key ON. I hit the gas pedal, and it does the exact same thing.

Anyone else seen this?

ahh I get it now...So I'm getting bad power drain somewhere. It kinda makes sence.

the TEMS does it's thing according to throttle position etc.

The Code 11 is

Temporary interruption of power supply to ECU.

So when the TEMS Draws power, there isn't enough left for the ECU, so the ECU malfuntions, sets the Code 11 and I start having my issues....

Well now I know the Cause. I just gotta figure out a solution...

Well, I dropped the fuel tank today. The pump filter was non-existant. and the tank was full of crap. The fuel pump was rusted all to hell and the wires almost look burnt. I've been doin alot of research on my code 11 and I came accross a few people with bad fuel pumps that caused it. So it looks like I'm upgrading my fuel pump ahead a schedule.

I'll let everyone know how it turns out after I put in the new fuel pump, filters etc.

1. code 11 is typically from bad grounds. replace them all.

2. fuel pump, lines or filter have NOTHING to do w/FCO.

In this case it does, the fuel pump was drawing too much power, The pump filter was non exsistant, so that pump was sucking up all that rust and dirt. The pump was drawing so much power that the wires were actually burning. I'm lucky I havn't filled the tank up all the way or else there could have been a big problem.

What the good Dr is telling you is that FCO is achieved when the frequency of the air monitored by the AFM reaches 1600Hz. Fuel is irrelevant in that scenario.

I think what you are trying to say is that you arent actually hitting ECU caused FCO, but rather your fuel pump and related systems are so bad you are actually running out of fuel not far off idle.

Either way, replacing your crappy pump and cleaning out the lines is a really good idea. I would suggest you use a compressor to blow out all the lines (preferrably not INTO your injectors but out, say onto the ground or back into the tank, to be cleaned out as well.) You may want to clean out your fuel rail and replace the body fuel filter (located above and in front of the tank) while you are at it.

GL with the repairs.
