okey you guy's! can some body please tell me how a scion TC killed my MK3, maybe because its an NA and its an auto, but even so does'nt the NA's have atleast 200 hp's on em? and it got smoked by a 187 hp scion TC?! and one more thing is there anybody out there that could tell me if it's a smart idea to slam the 7M GET turbo on A stock 7M GTE NON TURBO?

ughhh, that sucks, the NA mk3's are very slow, I remeber when i had mine, I tried to take off from a light and pass this lady in a Toyota Camry (she was casually chatting on her cell phone) and I just couldn't keep up with her... It was very sad, and my car had a K&N FIPK....
well, its clean and kinda fun to drive...but im used to passing people with my 300zx ( which is in the shop about to have its new VG30DETT twin turbo engine on it built from the buttom end to top, after all the job is done its HP is expected to atleast hit 970WHP, and havin its whole body in urethane and carbon fiber, i think i'll be smoking lots and lots of honda's with it.) but as of my MK3... well i think there's something that could be done to it but that'l be too much work and money, maybe dumping 10 G's on it would only get me running side to side with a 350Z
Ive taken a prelude SH, and a mustand 5.0L both manual in my '87 NA Auto. I had only fenders length on them, but I still beat them. Ive also stayed neck to neck with a MK3 turbo auto and gained a car length on an '89 300zx na 5spd. Is there something wrong with my car? LOL

Mine is some-what quick. I have a full exhuast, test pipe, (3inch) FULL intake, and short thorw shifter.
Its not that slow.
And i think weight killed you there buddy. Not horsepower

i took annother supra with mine standard, might have been turbo.. it was painted purple though.. so that explains alot right there.
I have to admit tein lowered tcs look very sick, I love those cars, they already have turbo kits for them, and with a trd swaybar....
there is only so much you can do to a N/A. exhaust and intake. HOWEVER,if someone were to ditch the FI system and install a trip of webers on it with the velocity stacks sticking out of the hood...hmmmmm

I've only driven two N/A's. I test drove a 5spd, and couldn't keep it from spinning it's open diff's heart out. It was wet out, but... still....
My auto parts car had no problem lighting them both up in my driveway and leaving 10' of marks.... so... yeah. yours is tired.

tc is more like 170hp.....and pretty quick to get up and go in a mtm. check out "jotech" to see some tc potential. had a guy come buy the dealership w/ a turbo kit on his the other day. if i could have one w/ no payment, i`d tinker w/ one. must be 5spd though.
as for the mkiii n/a, buddy of mine had one (87/mtm/4.30lsd) and was pretty damn impressive w/ his for it to be n/a. he has now swapped to a gte.
