hmm when i got mine it was only like 65 or 85... something around there.
I just used a floor jack, but that was precarious at best. Just make sure you have a buddy to help who is not afraid to get a little pinch here and there from a giant 85 lb rusty mass, and have him balance it from the front.
I took mine out for seal replacement myself in the garage.. it was such a PITA.. took me long time... I have 3" exhaust that was on the way to pull the axles out of the sides.. jack the wheels up and make the axles horizontal before you pull them out of the side flanges.. all that work.. and now the damn LSD making noise.. humm.. typical supra..
i think we are going to put the car up on jackstands + 2 jacks to give plenty of clearance... and use a third aluminum jack to lower the diff and raise it to put the new one in... probably our best bet.. we have plenty of room and the equipment.. wish we had a lift :-D
You shouldn't need to remove the exhaust. Just have the parkingbrake off and the car in neutral so you can rotate the driveshaft to get all of the bolts where you need. You shouldn't need a jack either. It's ~80lbs -- not that hard to slowly lower bench-press style if you're expecting it to be that heavy. I could see maybe dropping it if you expected it to weigh 20, but its not that bad...
