Ok, first off, let me admit my embarrassment for not knowing the answer to this question. Being an Electrical Engineer I should know these things.

So I just got my set of RC 550cc injectors and pigtails (from myfst89turbo on this forum. Great seller) and I was wondering...

Do injectors have a polarity?

What I am asking is will they operate no matter what as long as 12V (Or in the case of Low Impedance INJ, approximately 6V)? Or are they sensitive to the Polarity of the voltage dropped across them?

While the solenoids used in injectors don't care about polarity, other types sometimes do, such as the voice coil motor in a speaker. As an EE you should spend some time and learn more.

Well I knew Some Solenoids are directional and I just wanted to ask a more educated body. I specialize in more High Voltage/ Protection and Control applications.

Redacted per Title 18 USC Section 798
Some solenoids, including automotive injectors, employ a counter emf/flyback diode for clamping. They're always marked or the wiring color indicates polarization. Even if hooked up backwards they'll still work. Not exactly good for the diode though. Anyway, that's not the case here.
