how is it rare?

AT/ GTE/ HT?

92 Turbo auto w/ shadow grey leather, I assume. That's a fully loaded last year MKIII. Rarer? sure. But better? not much. Still would have been cool to get.

Thank you. A 92 with that color combination is the reason I still browse ebay and craigslist. It's what I wanted and looked for for almost two years. How many of these do you see around? Nothing rare to speak of mechanically, just the year and color combo. Leather a plus. If I just had 3 grand I'd have 3 supras in my driveway.

I have a black 92 with shadow grey interior.(most of it is recaro now though)

:]

That's great, just rub some more salt on the wound. Throw some lemon juice in there while you're at it. ;)
I knew I would find one fairly local after I got something else.

I scoped your car a long time ago. Nice.

man if only that supra in eugene was about 1500 cheaper. i think i could sell my car and swing a 4k dollar bill in the relatively near future.

but here's the thing; would he wait 3 years to sell it? :biglaugh: :biglaugh:

not really though. no car and some saving later i think i could afford 4k...in a a little less than one year. maybe i should try that. i really wanted a 1jz though.

I looked at that 92 Teal as well last week. BE CAREFU"L if you are bidding on it, here a couple things...
1) a mouse nest was in the spark plug valley
2) 2-3 good sized shopping cart dings and dents
3) still has the original tires on the rear and the tires on the front, though still have nice tread, are from 2000 according to the date code on them
4) There is a 4-6 inch long DEEP scratch going from the hood and across the fender on the driver's side. On the fender it has gone all the way into the bare metal!
5) missing the e-brake boot, coin box clip is broken, and worn driver's seat side bolster (shown on ebay picture)
6) The rear shocks are VERY worn and bounced quite a bit when I pushed down on them. Fronts were ok still.
7)Scratches on 3 fenders along the rim of the wheel wells except for the pass rear side which has had gas overflow out of the gas filler discoloring the plastic trim a bit in that location.
8) Leaking tranny gasket (slightly)
9) A/C was "cool" and had bubbles in the condenser window..needs a recharge.
10) paint chip on side mirror and on the driver's side door handle.
11) Driver's side window is loose and flops around quite a bit. (Even more than on my car with 130K miles)

It drove well and had no smoke upon start up, but I was concerned about all the things listed above and that the dealer wanted $9,000.
I'd say it is in Good condition, not Excellent which is what the dealer said, and even though it has low miles, with all the "little" problems with it, and that the head gasket is probably original (still has the Phillips screws on the valve covers), and Teal is not a favored color by most, AND the new owner will have a possible HG issue in the next 1-30k miles...I felt it was WAY overpriced .
I am surprised that they didn't put a reserve price on the auction, as I was told that they have at least $6500 invested in it. They are selling for someone else on consignment.

I know it only has 3 hours left on the auction, so don't know if this info helps anyone. I was considering bidding, but it has now gone up to $6,100...so I doubt I will.

To bad it has all those little problems...a low mileage car Yes, but definitely NOT cared for in those 46k miles.

....Oh yea, and I had a carfax run on it..no red flags, but it has had 4 owners...
