Hey all, I just recently purchased a catback exhaust from a friend, but have never heard of the brand.

Specs on exhaust: 3", single outlet, looks EXACTLY the same as the stock exhaust system (aside from the single outlet).

The name of the exhaust is "Pro F". It has a sticker with "pro f" and a bunch of Japanese writing on it. The muffler also has "pro f sport muffler" on the resonator and muffler.

Could this be one of those currently not-so-common items that were once made for the A70?

On the bottom of the resonator, in what looks to be white-out, is written "JZA70"

Interesting... other than looking like it has been dragging on the ground for quite some time, it looks decent enough.

It does, however, look nothing like the stock exhaust. LOL

Moy, with some more research, the name, "Sheepdog" is used many times in correlation with "Prof" and "Sports Muffler". I think Prof is a brand of mufflers and "Sheepdog" was a model and "Sports Muffler" was a model. But everywhere I read about them, it says something like, "JDM from Japan".

Alec, I googled "pro f sport muffler" and got the link that you just gave me.

The only places I've found anything relating to Prof is from Japan as well (istorya, rinkya, etc)

saw this exhaust on a supra at the movie theaters last night.

How are you 100% positive it was the same exhaust? Did you take the guy's muffler off to look at the top of it, or get on you knees and look under the car? :nono:

Prof/SheepDog products are always excellent, I've had my hands on that same exhaust many years ago, very smooth sound, BOV's, and had there tuned ECU in my car, very good quality.
That exhaust is getting more rare as the years go on because of the material, it's depressing that eventually they'll all rust away. Looks like yours is in very good condition, keep it clean and don't bash it up.

Unfortunately there are a couple splits in the bottom on the metal. PO bottomed out drifting one time. It's not too bad though, nothing a competent welder cannot fix. I'm going to clean it up real good and probably have it ceramic or powder coated, both to better its appearance and to keep the rust away. There is practically no rust on this exhaust what so ever
