random JZA70 cluster lights come on...WTFF?

sup guys, i swapped the speedo gauge from a jza70 cluster into my cluster and its been working fine for a long time...noww all of a sudden there is a light that came on the speedo gauge and i have no idea what its for :cry: first off, theres 3 lights on that gauge from left to right its an "!" with a circle around it, in the middle theres a seatbelt light i think, and the one to the right is the one that came on, it sorta looks like a cat-converter with 4 squggly lines above it ??? wtf is that, its driving me crazy but the car acts the same no problems, no overheating no drop in oil pressure or anything...all of the lights light up when the ignition is on except for the seatbelt one and go away...but all of a sudden when i was driving the Cat-converter looking light lit up on me out of no where.... so yea i need help to figuire out wtf that light/symbol is for

Its the catalytic converter high temperature warning light. I just cut my sensor off when my stock cat was removed and put in a body plug where it came out of the frame rail under the car.

My cluster light still flickers on and off occasionally as well. Might want to just pull the bulb out since im guessing your motor is swapped and you do not have the sensor hooked up at all.

thats strange cause i never had a cat on my car...just a resonator...so that light is never gonna come off unless i take the sensor off right?

it's a JDM thing, you don't need it...

The exclamation mark is E brake, the seatbelt is a seatbelt one, and the cat one is the above mentioned.

guess what i found out guys...my car ran out of brake fluid today and when i refilled the brake fluid the light came off...so on my car when that comes on it means low brake fluid lolz...pretty awesome if u ask me

Good to know you figured it out. I only have a JZA70 Tach on the low oil light doesnt even work

yeah... it's the handbrake light, but if you're getting low on fluid, you should notice it flashing on launches while there's still enough fluid to be doing the job....

no its not the handbrake light that lights up for my car when its low on brake fluid...for some reason the cat-converter light pops on

in an original jza70, you'll find it's the handbrake light....

yeah... it's the handbrake light, but if you're getting low on fluid, you should notice it flashing on launches while there's still enough fluid to be doing the job....
