hey guys i recently installed a new radiator and waterpump and for some reason my radiator light still shows in my gauge cluster. sometimes it blinks or sometimes it just stays on. i do not have a fan clutch on the car at present so could this be the problem, or is there a leak in the system or thermostat trouble?

On the 1st fill I normally do it about 1/4in over the full line because the system sucks it in somewhere after the 1st time its fully warm and then cools again.

That warning light is triggered by the level in your overflow tank in front of the radiator. Fill it up about halfway and it will go away. :)

Agreed, it happened to me, and then i filled her up, and BAM...no more light!

that's the kinda stuff i kick myself for. My parking brake light on the dash stayed on after i released the brake. Then it would go off a few minutes down the road. This also kept my cruise from working now...dang, another wiring snafu! Was this a british car in disquise?!?

I cut the sensor off and started cleaning it etc and figuring out how the ground circiut worked and then it dawned on me....maybe i'm just low on brake fluid.

yup.
