sr20det @ 16 psi on stock t25, 2" hot pipes going to large fmic to 3" cool pipes (aluminum ic pipes), 3" turbo back exhaust to 2.5" muffler

1st race i pulled 1/2 a car by 120, and the second race, i didn't even think we were going to race b/c there was traffic right in front of us... he started honking when i was in 5th, and mind you, my syncro's DON'T work... finally got into 3rd once he had taken off and we ended up pullin some stupid ass f+f shit because there was traffic in front of us... and obviously, he beat me, because he took off when i was in neutral :nono: i'dhave to say the cars were evenly matched though, if mine wasn't a tad faster

Something I've noticed since I've moved to Japan: With the exception of the R34GTR I've come to really dislike Nissan's more and more for some reason. And Will your right, Non S15 SR's break a lot! I always seem them at the garage I go to to fix my car. Always something going on with those damn things! Although certain Toyota's *cough* AE86 * cough* arent the pictures of reliability either.

s13 redtop sr20's are really strong motors but soo many people overboost on the stock turbo and blow it.

Well for what you pay the sr20det becomes not so potent, several swapped s13's here have them, the best of the bunch spen 12k for ocnversion and basic mods, then 10k more for all kinds of other parts, turbo etc. After all it made 389 rwhp, then he still had to paint, body, wheels, new rear axle, LSD needed, clutch and flywheel. After all said and done he noew has a 389rwho 240 that is so much a pain to drive anywhere including the track that its not really worth it. After all he spent on that POS he coulda got a solid mk3 with more power, or even better an mk4 with 450 with less than 6k in mods, plus both cars would look better, handle better, and BE BETTER that that thing.

I recently started hanging out with a red top sr20det swapped s13 owner...

It's nice to be able to make sun of someone for having a less reliable car than my supra.

A good friend of mine has an s13 w/ an SR swap.

Upgraded but still stock housing'd turbo and runs 11.59 @ 114mph w/ 322rwhp/351rwtq @ 21>18psi.

One of the baddest damned cars I've EVER been in. This SR hate is getting so old. He's NEVER had problems with the motor. As long as it's done right, treated well and maintained, they are kickass cars...that's all there is to it.

Unfortunately, 65% of the people w/ SR swapped 240's get passed the hard part (swapping the motor) but just can't seem to find the day of light to take care of the car...:nono:

Either way though...I'm 7M power FTW. :D

exactly.... + a t25??? LOLOLOLOL..... what a pos turbo... i bet it'd free up a lot of power if you simply got a generic t4 turbo

T25 is a fine turbo...not if you want a street monster, but it's not a bad starting point. My sr20det sentra made around 230 to the wheels at 10psi and could make around 250 with tuning. Of course the sentra is lighter than the 240 but the 240 can be a fun car none the less. As far as reliability is concerned i think the sr20det is just fine. I realize i should be careful how much i stick up for a nissan on a supra forum so thats enough out of me..haha
