Are you so lazy that you can't search first?

I just did a quick search and found a few threads with the information you seek but I'm not going to show them to you.

Find it yourself.

Use the R154 if you want a good strong tranny. Go with the W58 if you want a smooth shifting tranny. IIRC, the W58 will only hold about 400whp or something like that. But, do some searching and you will find answers.

Since we are on the tranny topic.. If it was to use a W58 would the clutch kit from the 7M be the same? Or would I have to get a whole new set up?

Well I knew that already. It would probably be easier for me just to get a R154, because I don't think JZ W58's are that easy to come by.

there should be no question...get the r154 and dont worry about it...period. If you blow one of those, you better have a getrag in mind anyway!
