So I'm looking for options here, I'd like to stick with the r154 if all possible, I'm shooting for mid to upper 6xxwhp with my 2jzgte vvti swapped 89' but as you all know the stock r154 won't hold that.
I thought about going with a GM trans as they are cheap and easy to get and fairly cheap to build but then comes the conversion part which cost an arm and a leg.
I thought about going with an a340e but those are also very expensive to build.
So I have decided to just stick with the r154 sense it's already in and operating. BUT who would everyone recommend to go through to build my trans to hold the power? I know marlin crower and jacks but I just looked at jacks site and they no longer list the r154 only the v160..
Thoughts?
