well upon removing my stock bell housing to bolt up my 1jz one i noticed oil in the bellhousing...i beleive its leaking fom the front seal where the input shaft is because theres oil all on the inside of my bell housing and no where else..so im just wondering how hard is it to change the front seal on a r154?

Its easier to remove the bolts with the bellhousing removed. Unless you like using a foot+ of extensions on a 12mm bolt thats not exactly torqued tight but been sitting for years.

Not need but easier. Shitty impact can take off and install without over torquing. And by shitty im mean shitty.

On second thought, might be better to remove the bellhousing so you can properly clean the surfaces. You're going to want to clean the gear oil out of it anyway...
