R154 odd question?

Hey guys so a friend of mine is picking up a spare R154 but the Metal Ring on the back of the transmission that the Driveshaft slides into is bent

My question

Is it hard to switch this part out?
Can i use one from a W58 or A340e?

When you say metal ring are you just talking about the dust shield? If so just bend it semi strait or in this case round and call it good as it is not a piece that is seen anyway. Just make sure that it will not conntact the DS.

The piece at the end all the way to the left? If thats what you are talking about it is only a dust shield so dont worry much about it so long as it doesnt rub the DS your good.
