R154 clutch on W58?

Ill be doing a turbo swap in my N/A soon and Im going to use my w58 tranny for a while, and i was wondering when i get a new clutch will i still have to get it for the W58 tranny or will a clutch for the R154 work?

P.S. any other advice on the swap is very helpful, good place to buy engine?!?!

It should work. Ive looked at my R154 Clutch and W-58 clutch pretty closely and dont see a whole lotta difference. The clutch disc for the R154 is alot tougher IMO.

yeah i was hoping a clutch for R154 would work because thats what i want, something stronger.

You can use the clutch DISC.

The pressure plate, flywheel, throwout bearing, are all different and not interchangable.

Thats what I planned on doing with mine. Jeff, do you know for sure if the R154 disc is stronger than the W-58?
