Today I finally got a deal on a 7M-GTE and with a supra that has been totalled REAL WELL but the engine is not hurt at all and it runs just great but the car......It's really totalled but it's great that the driver survived...I'm gonna swap It's engine which allready got a MHG and ARPs tourged to 75 after I check that everything is okay inside the engine..Enjoy the pictures and seriously drive safe!

So you guys suggest that I do anything while I'm swapping the engine? Like is there anything I should do? or just swap it and take pictures of my car like the ones above?! lol

Well joel it's a good thing that the driver was alone and he survived and in good health from the wreck and yes I live in Iraq-baghdad and there's a lot of MK3s in Iraq but if this swap was successful and I do some mods...Not too sure but this could be the first MK3 in Iraq that actually got some balls to run cause most of mk3s here are N\As and turbo ones got problems and I never seen 1 supra that have no boost leaks or a broken turbo. hopefully my one be the first one that I know of..There's another N\A supra here that got a 2JZ-GE swap but still an N\A after all.

Hey I got a question about the swap...This wrecked car is an Auto and mine is 5speed.. Mine is a 1989 and this one is a 1991 is there any problems if I used my old ecu & tranny with this engine? Is the wiring harrness diffrent from the 89 & 91? I hear older models got diffrent engines but from what I see the engine mounts are the same I mean round ones.

I think they match up although I noticed that the color of the coilpack plug is diffrent mine is gray and this engine is green does that really matter or not?

And about those bullet holes well I was shocked when I saw it but then it turns out that the owner of this car got stickers on the car that look like bullet holes? I donno what he was thinking and as the owner said he was moving at 100mph and a tire exploded and messed up the party....

Good then I just gonna need some money cause I bought this car for 1300$ engine got MHG with ARPs & 90,000mile on the clock of the car. I'm gonna pull the engine & tranny and swap trannies from engines and then swap it in that's the easy way right?

I think I can do it by myself but I don't have enough tools I can't lift the engine off the bay so I'll get a mechanic at a shop do the swap for me

literally if you have a hoist and a full set of metric sockets and wrenches you could pull the motor in about an hour with 2 or 3 other peopl that know what their doing.

Ive pulld a motor in 2 hrs flat w/ 1 other guy that knew what he was doing. putting the motor in should be just as easy, only hard part is the lining up the motor mounts.

One thing you might be concerned about is its a 91' so it does have liquid filled motor mounts be careful they like to break especially after being old, you might end up having to use the mounts off your motor. You know my AIM if you have any questions. Ive done the same exact thing your doing, if you use your harness of an 87 supra and try to connect it to a 91+ motor it isnt a straight drop in. There are sensors that need to be changed out etc (different plugs). But their no real biggy, i think the water housing sensors, knock sensors and i believe something with the TPS. Its best to just use the ECU harness and motor from the same year but what proposes an issue is he is an automatic so hes using an A/T 91+ ecu, which to say the least wont work.

So you might end up taking sensors from your old motor and putting them on your new one. Not a big deal
