Ok guys, I'm a bit ashamed to post pics of my car here or even make a topic when i see all the great Mark3 here...
Just forgive me for my bad english!
Annyway, 3 years ago, after crashing my 3rd 200sx because of someone who rear ended me and runned away (240sx is US? but with the CA18-DET in europe)
I was looking for a new ride. I met the french Supra club and loved that car.
Next week, i was in the train for England with cash and came back the same day with....unfortunatly...what was going to be my beloved babe.
after a few days, i started working on "her". she was in a real bad shape but i tried to do my best.
Many times, i did repair and as soon as i drived her, a problem happened before i even do 100kms. This summer after a rod knock, i repared her, and wanted to go to Germany for a Festival, but after 120kms away >>> BHG and destroyed head.
I'm kinda getting sick of her, but this time , i deceided to do a full rebuild and have a new motor (forged pistons etc)
You guys may say why i did not do a rebuild in the first place. but there's no performance shop here (or just for Euro cars such as BMW ect) and the Supra is an unknow car here.
Anyway, enought talk, here's the pics!
After i bought her, i added German "Postert" 18" wheels (but sold them a month later)
Then i bought a destroyed engine in whales for some €€ just for have some parts
Pics from this summer when we changed the rods with a friend. (it tooks a long time because every time we met, we opened beers and talked but almost never worked)
(HKS air filter on the pics was my first order on SM. thx drjonez)
and my car "Pin-Up"
Now, i have a BHG but i'm waiting for fix it.
I'm gonna take my time, have all the parts i need and do a flawless job. No matter how hard it is to import parts, i'll take my time but i want to enjoy driving my Sup like many ppl do. and not only enjoying reparing her
anyway, i found a good deal and bought her JDM tail lights and these BBS YR060 two pieces for the day she'll be on the road again
