Alright well when i got the car I got underneath, which I am right now as you can tell, and I noticed that the drive shaft was not all the way into the rear of the transmission. I know it goes in more, because I am leaking transmission fluid a little,

Now as you can see the middle carrier has been moved all the way forward and I still don't understand why it's not fitting here please give me some answers.

I took the rear end out just got done painting a new one so it's nice.

thanks

As you can tell I even moved the carrier and no real difference, what is going on!

to me it looks like you have an auto front half.

you will need to purchase or source a true 5spd turbo front half drive shaft, and replace the tranny rear seal when you go to install it.

the sooner the better btw..

You know I was thinking the same thing sort of. I thought it may be a auto transmission drive shaft.. I got it like this of course so I do not know anything, I took off my rear lugs and found out they were only on there with less then 10 ft-lbs.. so I am inspecting this car. I am nearly done though, I am cleaning the under body ( there a small amount of oil build up ) nothing to bad but I am cleaning it anyhow.

Well, I guess we'll see what happens.

Since you have to buy a new front half you might want to consider an
after market single piece. I got an aluminum one from "The Drive Shaft Shop"
and it installed easily and fit like a glove.
