a motor set costs 2600 bucks!?!?!?!?!?! for a 1J!?!?!??!?!!

jesus christ screw that

It's from Driftmotion, a full clip that they pull all the parts out of, palletize it & ship. It saves me a few hundred due to being on a pallet. It's a damn good deal considering that Jarco wants $2800 + $800 shipping.

Edited first post to reflect....

GOOD INFO!!

Ya know... I get weary of all the ppl who challenge what it costs or argue why it costs what it does, to do any swap.

Instead, they should focus on the components they need and determine an ESTIMATE from that point. Estimated and actuals are 2 different things and there are too many variables for one to decide that it will not cost more than X amount.

Once you're in the swap, all of a sudden you find that you need something else BY TOMORROW. Well, it's gonna cost you more, than if you had time to shop around or wait for some other part out.

Thanx for the list... that's really all they need. How much they spend will be proportional to what they want and what they pay INDIVIDUALLY for those things.

Instead of arguing what you can get cheaper (engine set vs. clip), just get your stuff, add up your costs, then post it up... like Rakkasan just did). No one wants to hear all that other noise, because we all know why we paid more for some things than others.
