quick wire question

if you look down past the intake manifold, there is a small group of wires by the starter, there are two sets coming from the group, a set of whites with black stripe, and a set of browns with black dashes. where do these wires go? i know at least one of them goes on the middle bolt on the manifold. and there is also another little tiny 2 pin clip that is right next to these two wires, where does that plug into? thanks for any help.

It might be the plugs for the auto tranny if you have an automatic engine harness.

did you just notice it or unplug it then not know where it goes?
is your car runing fine?

i bought the car non-running, and we rebuilt the whole motor and bought so many new parts and everything. i picked the car up with the motor already dis-assembled and having never taken it apart personally it's a little hard to get everything back where it belongs. the car is still not running, because im hooking up the last little things.

both the whites and the browns bolt onto the intake plenum. Is the two pin wire pretty long? If so, it should be the rear speed sensor on the tranny. It plugs in to the wires coming from the sensor, right around the top of the tranny.

the whites and browns go to the same bolt right? i remember looking at my friends car and i couldnt remember if they go to the same bolt.

As someone said, it may be for the EGR temp sensor on california cars.
