i just got some new rims. 18x8 front and 18x10 rear. what are the widest tires you can run on these? the front offset is +32 and rears are +35, or vice versa i cant remember off the top of my head. i have heard of ppl running 275's in the rear but that seems like a bit much. a friend of mine has a fender roller so that shouldnt be a problem. just wanted some sugesstions...

*edit: i just realized i put this in turbo-tech and not general. it can be moved if anyone wants.

315's *will* fit on the rear.
275's are safe. 295's will fit. It's really all in the offset though, and brand of tire you decide to run. Some widths are different from manufacturer to manufacturer regardless of the fact that they carry the same size on the sidewall.

18x10 +35 would put you how far away from the strut/fenderwell?

not sure what the distance is between the fender/struts. what is the best size for a 10 inch wide rim and an 8 inch wide rim. i heard 275's look good on 10's and 255's look good on 8's?

Tirerack.com shows the maximum and minimum rim width for a given tire, all tires arent made the same so you might fit a wider tire made by bf goodrich per say than you could in something like yokohama... its a good site to use for research and buying, i got mine from there :) 255's on blades
