Quick S-AFC 2 question

I just got a brand new S-AFC 2. I read all the instructions. My question is about the RPM signal. I notice there are 2 on the ECU. On the APEXi diagram, there is only 1 wire connected. Which one connects to the S-AFC 2. Is it RPM1, RPM2 or both? Thanx in advance.

for the benefit of anyone searching, it really doesnt matter. both will work and i have always used rpm 1 on the ones i have installed.

RPM 1 is described as the "primary", so if possible use that one, where as RPM 2 is an alternate, no idea why they named each, maybe 1 slightly more sensitive than 2?
