does this auction make any sense? i was looking to buy a manifold from ssautochrome but the listing makes me kinda weiry. it says its for an 82-85 7m-gte? the pic looks like it is for a 7m but i am thinking he mighta put up the wrong pic. b/c as far as i knew they were diff? and i emailed him bout it and he still hasnt wrote back anything. anyone know would help alot- thanks

Only thing I can think of is that it's for MkII's with a 7MGTE swap. Being a different engine bay the clearances would be different.

Looks like the same thing, and I have one, it turned out to be a great deal so far. (Build your braces that are similar to the stock lower one going from the engine mount to the side of the turbo, and upper one from the head to the turbo, and you should be braced fine IMHO.)

What turbo are you going to run? I'm kicking around the idea of the Masterpower T70. It appears to be inexpensive, built as well as any similar Garrett product and at the price, can't be beat.

yeah i am planning on buyin the mani here in teh next couple days. i am not sure wheat turbo i am gonna get just yet. i know what i want, but what i want and what i can afford are two different things lol. so i will just have to see what i cant find out there. or i might get something on the cheaper side b/c of the large a/r and change the exhaust housing. we will see.....

its the same. they just list it that way to get more sales. tha manifold also fits the 5m and 6m engines. though may require a lil touchup with a grinder where the manifold flange for the head slightly interferes wit hthe power steering bracket. lots of 5m's and 6m's with 7m manifolds and ct26's on them. you ot nothin toworry about.
