Quick Question: Fuel Filter

the fuel filter on our cars is located in the back near the rear axle/fuel tank, its not hard at all to get too, just put the back end on jackstands, and the easiest way to test if it needs replace ment is by taking it out to see if it looks clogged, if ur caar doesnt like to start consistently or takes a few trys to get it going it could be a problem w/ the fuel filter

It's located where 89supturbo said, but it's a pita to remove and replace. If you're gonna remove it, might as well just change it. It's been there a long time anyway. Removing the gas tank helps a lot with access to the filter. Use brake line wrenches (can't remember the right name) and some penetrating oil, or you can damage the gas lines. Ask me how I know...

flare wrenches. ;) use PB blast, and let it soak for a few days. keep soaking it, then try with flare wrenches. it should come right off...

by the way: 89supturbo- you're only about an hour from me. :)
