Quick question about mustang wheels and bores.

I was looking at a set of new FR500 rims, and the wheel bore is 70.6mm
Our hub bore appears to be 60.1mm. Now I've seen alot of guys put mustang wheels on their cars, but I haven't been able to locate
a hubcentric spacer to fill that bore gap. My questions are:

Am I not looking in the right places for a spacer ring?
or...
Do those that have Mustang rims, simply do without the rings, and hope for the best?

Those who are using Mustang rims- please chime in, and lemme know what experiences you've had.

I don't have any rings. Then again I'm not running mustang wheels, but the hub on my current wheels is way bigger than 60.1mm or whatever it's supposed to be.

Update- I did find one place, that has 60.1mm to 70.4mm.
Would this be precise enough to help center the wheel?

The lug nuts should center it fine. I don't run any but I don't have mustang wheels either.

Those are close and might work fine. Or might just be a hair small.

I have cobra wheels on mine without spacers. Never have had a problem. Hvyman is correct. The lug nuts center out the wheel as long as you tighten them evenly

Thanks guys-
I know this subject might fall under the massive wheel wheel fitment thread, but the wheels I'm thinking of using, are FR500 replica's, in 18x9+30 and 18x10+40.
Do these sound like reasonable sizes/ offsets? I'd rather not roll the fenders, but will if necessary. Also, I have coilovers, so they're a bit slimmer than the stock spring/ shock combo.
I would prolly opt for 255's in the front, and 275/ 285's in the rear.

My wheels are 17x9 all around can't remember offset ATM. 255/50zr15 in front & 275/45zr17 on the rear. I have the shitty lotek springs and I rub like a mother**. Those sizes would be good if you have coilovers I believe. I'll check

wheel specs, 18x9 +23 up front, 18x10 +21 in the rear, tire specs, 235/40/18 and 275/35/18, fender roll up front, roll and pull in the rear they fit great no rubbing

Supralove- Seeing as I will be putting on a rear wheel that'll be set inward an additional 19mm compared to yours- do you think that would eliminate the need for me to roll fenders?

Thanks for that great pic, DJT.
I'm feeling better and better about the possible fitment now.
ps- I don't mind putting a slight camber(~1.5) to the wheels either. I just don't wanna go "Hella dumb", or crazy tire stretching.

i had 04 cobra wheels on my 90. you should be fine without rings. if you're that worried about it. you can find a set of four on e-bay for like $10.

If your new wheel and lug nuts are tapered, you will be ok. I would still try to get centering rings. If the wheel and lug nuts are like factory Toyota alloy wheel lug nuts, flat with a washer. You need centering rings.

I can't wait to see a picture of them our your car.
