Is there any difference between the 86-89 w58 and the 89-92 w58 as far as clutches go? i just ordered a clutch kit for my w58 from my 91 but i heard in passing something about a larger input shaft i couldnt find any clear answers when i searched. thanks -Brandon

Thanks for the response i read that thread and i understand the differences between the r154 and the w58. my question really stems from the fact that when i ordered my clutch there was two options, one for 86-88 w58 and one for 88-92 w58 trannys. i am using a w58 from a 91 na on a 7mgte from an 87 i did search and read one thing about the release bearing being different but i just wanted to clarify so i can switch my order on Monday if need be.
