1. The bic mounts, I am having troubles with the placement of the exhaust side mount. It seems if it is in the back 2 set of holes on the engine, it hits the oil return lines. And when It is on the front 2 set, It is almost hitting the piece on the oil pan, I think there is just enough room to squeak the hose on it and a clamp. Is it supposed to be that close?

2.What is the sequence for removing and re installing the cam bearings? What should they be tourqued at. And what is the allowable clearance between the shim and cam?

3. Tourqe specs of: (unless if tight enough is good enough)

a. Upper Intake to lower runners
b.oil pan bolts
c. cam pulley bolts
d. Crank Bolt

4. I am 87 NA right now (W58) and Im going R154, Do i need a new speedometer cable? I got a turbo tach, does it have the same plug as my NA tach?

Thanks for helping out me out

I can help you out with No. 4. The speedometer cable is the same, but the tranny mount is different

If the turbo tach came out of a pre-89 then it should be fine. But I think there a little bit more to it then just a plug, Good luck!

OK
i would just hand tight the oil pan bolts just in case the bolts become stripped, for your 2nd question look at the sticky on how to install cams at the top of the page

Yea, from my experiences with oil pans, its best not to over tourque them, hand tight is good in my book at first, not just for possible stripping, but also gives the gasket a chance to set up, then I put a turn or two on. Good luck!

Well I got my intake side BIC mount on, Only problem is that the holes for the bolt dont go deep enough, Is it ok to put a washer or 2? And on my Exhaust side, its still hitting my turbo oil drain pipe collector thing. Can I grind a bit off and still have a strong mount?

Hey man I searched the same question you have about the mounts along time ago and nobody could answer that question for me ether. The engine mount bolts into the rear sets of holes. I had to bend my rear oil return line to make it fit and extend the rubber tube. It never worked very well at all. My suggestion to you would be to ether make a set of custom steel braided return and feed lines. thats what I was starting to research to find my solution. I stoped because it was just going to be very expensive. The CT26 steel braid oil flange will actually fit on the twins. If you have any other questions feel free to pm me.
