You dont hook up the bottom port

Does it need to be pluged?

Also I installed it already, and at very low boost, around 1 o 3 psi I get very little flutter from the BOV, but If I tightened the knob on top, I just get a Swooshing sound, and I dont get the ziinnggg sound lol. Is this fluttering at very low boost normal? Im running the stock CT on 10 PSI max. Thanks

you dont have to hook it up. I had one of those on my first supra. just leave it alone. if its fluttering at low boost then that means your spring is tightened so that the pressure can't open it. really you don't need to be cherping unless your really getting on the gas.

i have one and i thought if it fluttered your supposed to tighten it. if its opening before 10psi(in his case) then its to loose and letting wanted boosted air out.

I also thought you were suppose to tighten it, but according to my research on supramania, your suppose to soften the setting.

Tomorrow I will soften the setting and cut my vaccum line shorter to the BOV, since it is pretty long right now.

Thanks guys!:biglaugh:

really because when i got my car it was adjusted all the way in which would be tight right. i dont have the sticker on it. it would never stall but you would never hear it unless u boosted. so i loosened it and now its louder and i can hear it all the time and mine is not recirculated. sometimes it will get close to stalling but the isc catches it and thats wat supposed to happen when its not recirculated. if you have some links id like to read if not dont worry i think mines correct.

oo are you hearing the turbo flutter or the bov flutter. if its the bov then tighten it. if its the turbo loosen it cuz thats compressor surge.

from wat i gather your hearing the flutter when boosting and only getting 3psi? which would be the bov

Ok i got it working correctly, I just shortened the vaccum line to the BOV, and i also set soften the setting. Works good, no flutter. Thanks

Thats what I meant. I just worded it kind of funny. What I meant was when pressure is put on to the BOV and isn't high enough to open the valve all the way it wil flutter like that. just tighten it so it doesnt go off at low rpm/speed.
