questions need some real good answers

Well Im at a crossroad on buying some Electrical gear (I think) Anyways Im just looking for what the hell all these mean and some site that explains what they do, for example, hks evc, maf-t, safc, F-con, FCD, all those things I know what most are but what exactly do they do??

EVC - Electronic Valve controller (IIRC) AKA -boost controller
MAFT- mass air flow translator. Made by Full throttle speed, used to convert from Karman vortex to GM Mass air. New MAFT Pro can convert to speed density potentially.
SAFC - Apex'i Super Air Flow converter - simple but effective piggy back fuel controller.
f-con - Couln't tell you for sure.
FCD - fuel cut defencer. Made by HKS also, extends fuel cut, however in a poor manner and is never reccomended due to possibility of nuking your motor.
