Questions about Wiring harnesses and Transmission types.

Hey gents,

I have a couple of questions.

I just recently bought myself a 7mgte for my 1986.5 Mk3. I'm swapping from 7m to turbo of course. My questions regarding the transmission type and harness are these. If have a Non-turbo rated W58 transmission in my car, will it mount correctly to my 7mgte till i find myself a R154?

My next question is, if i order myself a new wiring harness from http://www.tweakdperformance.com, will the 7mgte wiring harness be compatable with my current W58 transmission. Now criticize me if i'm wrong and sound complete stupid. But im new at this.

Yes you can use the W58 until you decide to up the power. The tweaked harnesses are very good and pretty pricey. I don't think there is any difference in the transmission plug between the two. Get in touch with DRTweak and ask, he will be glad to help I'm sure
