Hey all my 89 Cressida is going to need an oxygen sensor soon exhuast gasses are leaking right through the sensor itself and I keep getting codes 25 and 26 every so often.

So I was wandering anyone use any 4 wires oxygen sensors on their 7mge? Where do you wire in the heater circuit so it comes on when engine is running? Also what cars are these o2 sensors off of?

There are some but mostly wired with a Maft-Pro or something like that. If your're going that route you should have a way to adjust the AFR's.

Check on line for Inovate O-2 to see what you need and have to do.

I think you're confusing a WB with a NB four wire AJ. Four wire sensors are the same as three wire except for the additional ground lead. Course, the OP might be referring to a WB but his post leads me to believe otherwise...

I fitted a 4 wire to my cressida 7mge a few years back.

It was an NGK generic 4 wire unit and I used a relay to switch it on and off. The relay tapped into the fuel pump resistor circuit that was mounted close by and thankfully the fuel pump is only on when the engine is running.

You guys have any part numbers?

Or know what car these 4 wire o2 sensors came off of?

I have no access to go through a bunch of o2 sensors to see what would fit.

Also I do have the flange fitting to get a screw in o2.

^^lol Ian

You can just use a 3 wire as JJ said so you don't have two grounding wires, just get a universal 02 for a GM 3800 motor, it shoud be around 34 bucks if I remember correctly.
