questions about fuel cut

i have a 1j . i have looking around the boards now. and i see alot of post about fuel cut and fcd's. seen a guy on here that was building his own. i understand how fuel cut works.
my question is .. is their a way to remove the fuel cut at the ecu with out a fcd.. is their something as simple as looping a wire or something dumb like that to remove cut completly? i would just rather not have it and have boost controled instead

very informative . thanks. i will end up goingwith a mega squirt on this car. but for now i will be happpy with stock boost. thats fine. after the breakin i willl go to 660 new intake and a squrit, that will get me to my goals.
