I was checking the ic lower hoses and I found out there's a huge crack on the hose that goes to the turbo. My supra is 87 and I was wondering if this hose is different for 89 supra

The hose directly off the intercooler is different. The hose from the metal pipe bolted to the chassis going to the turbo should be the same.

Both are different. The actual 87-88 intercooler is different then the 89+ intercooler as far as piping, the actual cores are identical.

I know that the i/c to throttle body piping is different, and what's different about it. However, I don't know what's different between the turbo to i/c piping. Could you be more specific, please? I have been making a lower hardpipe kit as I thought they were all the same there, if I need to make a change please fill me in as to what it is.
Thanks.

It's been a long time since I saw the 87-88 intercooler, but as I recall the end tank metal pipe actually extends much further then the 89+. The routing is near identical but the pipes are different lengths.
