hey my side door mouldings are uncliped or broken near the rear of the door, but the thing is they've been like that for a while so now they're all bent out of shape. is there ne possible way i can use some kind of compound to glue them to the door or would it be easier to just get some new mouldings. i was thinking about glueing them back cause it looks like a PITA to remove and install new ones.

haha, usa
the door moldings on my 87 were really easy to replace. i bought both for around $200 and removed the pieces of the old ones very easily too.

open the door and locate the nut near the door hinge that is holding the molding on... remove the nut, carefully remove the old door molding.

clean the door, prep the new molding, clip it in, screw on the nut, and wala!

oh and 1 more thing, make sure you put them on the right door.
