I was out driving my car today, the first time it's been driven in ~2 months, and under full load WOT I noticed it would start popping, as if it were going into knock. A/F is really rich ~10.4:1, so could this be it's so rich it's blowing out the spark.... or is it just due to really old gas?

Reason it is rich is I installed 550's during the swap....

TIA, for any help, or advice...

~Bryan.

P.S. Merry Christams everyone!!

Bringing back an old thread I know but I'm thinking it may be something else. Could the car running off the battery, cause there to be a drop voltage in the system enough, that it would not light some of the plugs? Or light them just slightly, not enough so that mixture would burn?

Yes, definately - battery won't produce enough juice to spark properly at higher RPM ranges.
