Extentions my friend. For mine which I thought were actually quite easy I used a breaker bar>20in>10in>wobbler>socket. At that point tho you should have a buddy or relative guide the socket onto the bolt because the breaker bar is basically behind the trans where you are.

i just let the trans hang and pull the engine down, and my lil chineese hands fit down there with a 14mm wrench just fine. the starter is the biggest pain in the rear.

take your motor and pull it out a little bit then take a 6 point 14mm combo wrench and used the closed end and pull hard as hell... thats how i did it and it came of

DO NOT use a 12 point closed wrench all that open surface area will cause the wrench to gradually slip off then whap, your hand is twrown acorrs the engine bay*OUCH* also if you use a 12 point youll end up rounding the bolt head.

but im pretty shure that the whole drop everything technique works as well

Undo the tranny monunt and put a pice of wood on a jack and jack up the crankpully abit. then you have a bit more space to work on/inn

^^^what he said, and if you get about three foots worth of extentions, you can lay down below the back driveshaft & get the two bolts with ease.

how do you drop the tranns from the car with out a million miles of extentions and a pair of small ninja hands? I cant think of any other way than pulling the damn engine :)

unbolt the trans. cross member and lower it with one jack. lift on the crank pully with another jack. slide your 6 point wrench in there with your chineese hands and whala!!! the next problem after that is your pressure plate is most likely stuck to the flywheel. i just put a new clutch in the other day, and i hope i never have to do that again for quite some time.

find someone with chinese/ninja/jap hands? I got Korean/Australian hands and they can fit from the top, though im practicaly lying on top of the motor to undo them, and the movement is "a ants dick at a time"Just think of happy thoughts while ur slowly undoin them, the alternative is as mentioned above, let the rear of the tranny hand down and undo the bolts with ext.
