Ok, so the other day I had my air flow meter off to clean the area up from the oil thats been leaking around there. I noticed that the turbo actuator hose wasnt connected back to the turbo. Instead it has a three way splitter going to it with only 2 hoses connected to it. I was wondering why it is like that and what i should do for the part of the splitter with no hose.

Thats what its suppose to look like but mine doesnt. It has the three way splitter with only two hoses going to it. Does anybody have any idea on how to fix this? Should i just take the hoses off and put it back to factory or should i get a hose and connect it to the splitter and back to the turbo?

Ill take pics if nobdy gets what Im saying.

Ummm...it's not possible for it to be a vac line. A 3-way splitter open to atmosphere pretty much disables the wastegate. What max psi were you showing?

If your WG is open to atmosphere, your turbo will spool right to fuel cut. In your case, your very lucky for that feature. Plumb it direct like in the picture you posted and you shouldn't hit it anymore.

Thats what Ithought I should do but wasnt to sure. Ok follow up question what should I do with the hose after I connect the actuator hose back up?

Does it connect to a boost controller? If not, toss it.

Ok but what do I do with the other hose then? I cant just leave it there, lol. And honestly, I have no freakin clue where it runs to.

There isnt, but Ill only be using one hose for the actautor, the other hose will just be sitting there. And thats a nono.:nono:

Ill take a look at it and see where it runs to. If anything Ill just post a pic up.

If it used to be:
Turbo -> Hose -> T -> Hose -> Actuator

And it's supposed to be:
Turbo -> Hose -> Actuator

Then you will have a leftover T and Hose.

It's possible that there was a Manual Boost Controller there. Either hook it back up like stock as said, or find a cheap MBC to hook back into it. If you are missing a boost controller, those hoses you do have are probably hanging loose at the other end.
