I've got an 88 7M-GTE, and though I love it to death, I don't know if it will take me where I want to be. I've got a lot planned for this car (for the next several years), and eventually want to make 500 rwhp if not a little more. Would it be more economical to rip the 7M out and do a ground up build, or should I plan on building a 1jz or 2jz to swap in? I'd much rather keep the 7M if it's doable, I just don't know what to expect to pay...
