I know shine makes a good product, thats not the question. The previous lip I had was a 3 hole Bomex, and well if you know as well as I do they don't last long. My car has KYBs and Eibach springs. With this lip be an issue with cracking and breaking like the Bomex. I'm not saying I drive the car into curbs everyday but would it be able to handle the occaional hit?

The front of my car is slammed and my shine spec G takes a beating. Its been on almost 3 years now with only 1 small crack. That crack happened 2 months after installation.

Shine uses a type of FRP (fiberglass) that has an awesome flex agent of otherwise that helps them bend and stay more malleable than Bomex and the majority of other out there.

In the end, if it gets tapped hard enough it's still game over.. Urethane is really the only material (stock lip is urethane afaik) that will take nearly all you throw at it, but it suffers from deformation over time and is generally much more expensive to produce.
