question about reinstalling engine...

we are about ready to put my 7m-gte back. we are putting it in from the top. is it easier to put the turbo/manifold on before u put the motor back in or after the engine is in place in the engine bay?

just need a quick answer. is there anything else that i should put on before we put it back in?

I went back and forth with that, after getting the motor in I think I had the turbo off and on 3 more times lol! It's not that bad getting it on with the motor in there. Good luck with it all

I honestly suggest putting everything you can on that engine before you drop it in. these engines are fairly easy to pull once you've done it 100 times..... however to give you more room to work its not bad idea to leave it off either.. if you plan to go that route.. goto sears and by and nice wratcheting 14mm wrench (20$ maybe for a nice one, if not cheaper) trust me that and a 12mm will make life under the hood so much easier.

Yeah MS: Everything I even went as far to unplug the ECU harness and pull out from the firewall.
Its real easy to wire up the entire engine this way.
Then just pull the harness back through the firewall to plug back in.
