Is it normal for an engine to smoke just slightly with the oil cap removed? I noticed the same thing too with oil dipstick. I think my valve stem seals may be no good... could this be a sign?

is it normal? how much is too much? is there any way it can be valve stem seals or totally unrelated?

Most motors have some as all have end gaps in the rings.
How much is normal.... don't really know how to answer that.
I'm sure there will be a specification for that somewhere.
