during my rebuild i did the whole n/a filter stud thing with the bigger oil cooler and remote mount oil filter. right now i have the filter mounted up in the engine bay near the air filter. i think i want to move it. where would be a good place to move it too? i can't really seem to find a good spot.

on a side note i'm running the areoquip pushlocks. on some of them i have to use hose clamps to prevent leaks; cause i can't push them all the way on the hose. how the hell do i get the fittings all the way on the hose?

Pushing on the push lock hose, is difficult sometimes. You need a vice with some "soft" jaws in there, and firmly mount the fitting. Then with both hands, push the hose onto the fitting untill it's snug down into the seat area. (Plastic ring.)

I just did many AN fittings, and they can be a bear. (Especially the AN4 and AN10 stuff. The AN6 and 8 lines/fittings are easy to use compared to the pushlock stuff I've tried.

My filter is on the right apron, just beside the AFM location and infront of where I have my Greddy E-01 controller mounted.

It's a inline filter, has two 90 degree AN10 fittings attached, and the lines come up from the engine over the rail, and then go back on the other side to the cooler.

I have changed the oil filter once, and it was easy. Just loosen the AN fitting, screw out the cover and pull out the filter. Easy as can be. No leaks either. (Just have to wipe up any oil that spills out around the canister and fittings, but it was minimal since they are "on top" for the most part.
