Question about Mine's ECU

Hi all,

does anyone know someone who runs a Mine's ECU programmed for 550 injectors for the 7MGTE?
I have one that is programmed for 440s and would like to copy the chip of the 550s.
I am willing to pay a good amount of money for it.

So please let me know.

Looks like you can still buy new ones from MINE'S for ¥184,800 - which is about $1729.

eh, for me, thats not a lot of money to spend on such a rare item...only £850...you pay more for an AEM...

You are crazy or have too much money if you would pay 1729 for a stock ecu with some tweaks.

And this is coming from someone with a Mine's ECU. But I would never pay almost 2k for one. I wouldn't even pay 1k.

That much coin is standalone territory. If not, you're wasting money.

They're just rare because a lot of the 1J ECUs came over in clips and engine sets being the only engine out of the 3 not sold here.

Tuned ECUs from JDM companies pop up here and there for the 7M and 2J. Not really worth it to try and find one. Lots of other more common alternatives.

Even for a 1J, the tuned ECUs aren't really that special unless you just happened to get one in your clip or get one for a good price.

Ah, i was under the impression it was a standalone - not just a stock with a few tweaks

Still, £850 for an ECU is cheap...cant even get one for my Golf GTI (2.0 16v ABF) for less than £399 (AmD chip)

Shame there arent really too many replacement standalones though....
