first off...is this a good deal?? MAFT Pro kit on supra sport

also i would love if someone could basiclly tell me everything they can person to person...... i've read the sales pitch from places selling the translator and would just like to hear it from a real person to understand

i should be looking for an SAF-C also right??

i am at the begining of my build...the engine is still in and together. i'm right now pulling off little peices at a time...coil packs, intake, catch can, cruise, etc.

some things are discarded[cruise] some or being deep cleaned and polished or painted[coils]

i plan to go with fordged rods and pistons[.040 over], 1mm over valves, ferrera equip in the head, MHG, upgrade to turbo....not sure yet trying to keep itcheap and easy....but i like the things i hear about the BOSS turbos from SS........

without droning on i'd like to ask about porting and polishing?? anyone done it? was it much help?
also what to do about the crank??

anyhelp??

Personally I would get it from Dr Jonez.. They are referring to the lambda cable so I am guessing that is the innovate WB. I would find out.. If it is that is a pretty good price. Also Dr J sells both. Check with him on pricing..

1) buy it from dr. jonez. he offers the BEST technical assistance, free shipping, etc...

here's dr. jonez's info: http://www.supramania.com/forums/member.php?u=180

and here's his misc. vendor's thread:

2) the maft pro eliminates the need for an SAFC. it has one built into it. it also has a boost control function, and solenoid that you can buy for it, which eliminates the need for an electronic boost controller, and you can run it in speed/density, which elimates the AFM, as long as you buy the two sensors and the harness for it. it's an awesome deal!

3) i haven't done any porting/ polishing.

thanks for the advice.... i forget who but someone told me the tuning to be done with the maft[maybe it was the reg one] is more of a "corse" adjustment and an S-AFC is used to "fine tune" the engine

either way i'll contact the good doctor!

nope, the maftpro is just like an SAFC. the origional maft is more of a rough tune. :)
