ok so I just installed these injectors the other day but is there any wrong or right way to wire the clips into the harness... as in positive and negative... the guy that sold them to me told me that it didn't matter...

The best way to do this is to unplug one injector, remove and replace it with your new injector, solder or crimp the clip on the disconnected wires and hook it up to the new injector. You won't screw up if you do them one for one like that.

heh, funny timing, I just walked in the door from installing my 550s.

no order as to which of the two wires per clip is which... as lagged said, they're non polorized, but make sure you keep the right clip with the right injector.

all in all... it took me about an hour from start to finish. easy job. woot.

make sure you replace all the copper o rings though! YEAH!

Correct me if I'm wrong but the way the harness is setup it's almost impossible to wire them out of sequence due to the length of the connector wires. Besides which on 89 and later cars the connectors are brown-grey-brown-grey-brown-grey.

This is what your talking about right? If not nevermind....
