I was looking at my lower IC pipeing, the pipes that come off the turbo outlet and travels down to the intercooler. On my setup, i have an S shaped pipe from the turbo going down to a 90 degree aluminum elbo, then from there it travels to the intercooler. But i was looking at this picture, and another supra turbo and saw that instead of the S shaped hose and a 90 degree elbo, it has a slightly angled hose from the turbo, and a slightly angled elbo at the bottom of it. I searched the TSRM and all years have the same S shaped setup like i have, but this picture as well as my friends supra has a different setup.
Is there a different setup for different years? Manual/Auto? It seems the other setup is much easier to install and remove, and i need a new compressor outlet pipe, so if i have to buy a new one anyways i might as well switch to the other setup. Any info on this would help! Here is what the easier one looks like, the EPC in the TSRM shows what mine looks like.
