I was looking at my lower IC pipeing, the pipes that come off the turbo outlet and travels down to the intercooler. On my setup, i have an S shaped pipe from the turbo going down to a 90 degree aluminum elbo, then from there it travels to the intercooler. But i was looking at this picture, and another supra turbo and saw that instead of the S shaped hose and a 90 degree elbo, it has a slightly angled hose from the turbo, and a slightly angled elbo at the bottom of it. I searched the TSRM and all years have the same S shaped setup like i have, but this picture as well as my friends supra has a different setup.

Is there a different setup for different years? Manual/Auto? It seems the other setup is much easier to install and remove, and i need a new compressor outlet pipe, so if i have to buy a new one anyways i might as well switch to the other setup. Any info on this would help! Here is what the easier one looks like, the EPC in the TSRM shows what mine looks like.

where can i get an aftermarket hardpipe from the compressor outlet to the intercooler? Also, did the early years or late years have the S shaped pipe? Why the change?

Your best bet is the cxracing ic pipe kit...comes with what you need for all the pipes for less than $200 I believe

Yes, i know about that change in the pipeing, but that is not what im talking about. What im talking about is the rubber pipe from the turbo compressor outlet as well as the aluminum elbow it connects to.

That was for Sik89supra benefit.
