Question About Backpressure

I need some info about backpressure. I currently have an NA, but will be going to Turbo next winter. I like the look and sound of the HKS Dragger Exhaust and was wondering if I can put this exhaust on my NA before I go turbo. Obviously it isn't going to create the proper amount of backpressure for the NA engine, at least until I go turbo. Will this cause engine damage, and can I put a resinator or muffler in place of the cat to reduce the backpressure so I don't loose performance?

Or would I be better off going with the HKS sport 60mm exhaust? Is this a single or dual outlet muffler? I know the 65mm is dual, kinda stock lookin. LMK

Thanks in advance :burnout:

The 60mm exhaust is specificly for the 7MGE. Putting on the Dragger wont hurt the engine. But you will lose low speed torque.

According to these responses I shouldn't have any problems ither than the fact that I might loose some low end torque if I purchase a turbo exhaust. Is anyone else able to confirm this.

It may feel a little bit slower at low end--but get it up there and the three inch is perfect! Your in the same situation as me. I have a n/a and am going turbo. I have a 3 inch Rs*R with individia piping and a test pipe!
