My afm is bad so i was thinking of either buying a stock one or get the lexus afm. Is it ok to get the lexus afm without installing the 550 injectors? I was told I can tune it with the screw driver.

You can tune it with an adjustable fuel pressure regulator or by adding 550s. The screw is rather unlikely to give you enough range by itself.

Look into a MAFT as well from Full Throttle Motorsports, this solution does basically the same thing except it doesn't require the new injectors.

you can't use the lex electronics either....you have to use the supra ones....

That means if yours is bad, you would have to buy a stock afm and a lex housing to do that. I would look into the maft. Much more flexiblity with it.

Supposedly what I have been hearing is that some cars don't agree with some electronics from the lex AFMs. Can I prove it from experience; unfortunately no. However thats what I have heard.
