Question about 89+ tailight conversion

If I only want to swap my tails for the 89+ will the 87 trim still fit?

Someone made a post here on a diy to swap the trim from pre-89 to 89+ tails, but its much more work than swapping over 89+ trim too, saves u from having rusty moldings around the car as well

Yes trim still fits. You will have 89+ trim on the center section tho.

you can glue the pre 89 trim on the 89 piece..
